I may not be the first to nominate someone I adore, but I'll gladly be the first to crow about it. :)
ReplyDelete...And your support is so welcome, Joel! With more than eight weeks to let it percolate, I bet you will discover someone you feel deserves a nod.
ReplyDeleteThanks for crowing about this Joel :) I found out about it from your Facebook link! Have tweeted about it! Great idea, Jason :)
ReplyDeleteCheers, Maria!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I succeeded. I clicked on submit and the box-thing went all white. Hopefully, I did it. :)
ReplyDeleteI have a submission from you, yes, Lyn (aka Violeta, right?) Thanks for nominating!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely such a splendid idea. There are so many hardworking authors out there that deserve recognition. Bravo to you Jason for doing this!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lisa! (L.M.) -- I agree that so many deserve recognition. This little trophy is but a start.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea, J. Shining a light on the hard-working indie author community is a truly worthy cause.
ReplyDeleteeden
Thanks, Eden! I really hope folks will get a ton of nominations in to share word of their indie author -- and even traditional author -- heroes.
ReplyDeleteHi Jason,
ReplyDeleteThis is AMAZING,I have met some pretty awesome Author's in my time here in this online world and each of them keep me in awe everyday, it will be hard to choose who to nominate. Can we nominate you, cause I think you would deserve this award too. :)
Natalie
Aw, how kind and sweet, Nat! Remember, you can nominate more than one person...however, as I'm the founder of this particular award, I would need to gracefully bow out if someone nominated me. I think that would only be fair.
ReplyDeleteStill, though, what a great thing to say! Am I blushing? I think I'm blushing. Can you tell? I'm pretty sure I'm blushing...
I would like to nominate The Indie Book Collective. They are doing a great job in not only promoting their own works but are also doing the same for others. In addition, IBC teaches classes on social media, publishing and marketing, all for free or minimal fees. They don't do it for profit, they do it from the desire to help other indie authors find success and show the world that indie authors are great too!
ReplyDeleteKaren, that's a wonderful idea to nominate the IBC -- please use the form above so that it can be counted with all the nominees! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Jason. I really hope my nominee gets an award. I'm not saying who it is, but it is a very deserving writer and tireless promoter. I'm sure others are entering the same nomination.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks so much for making your nom, Max!
